We finally have more information about the account transfer.

1.      The part enhancements will be adjusted as seen in the list below, since EU has much higher parts due to good harvest events.

2.      Welcome gift box for EU users

Mito Drink (7 Days)
EXP Drink (7 Days)
Item Drink (7 Days)
Aero set coupon 50% (7 units)
Car upgrade coupon 50% (7 units)

Mittron Enhancer Deluxe (1 Day) x 99 (3 EA)

3.      Mitos will be give when DB transfer is done by following calculation :

Character level x 20,000 mitos

4.      Maximum level will be changed to lvl. 131.

How the transfer will work will be described on the webpage we will link soon.

The transfer period will be March to September 2012.

Dear Drifters,

We are happy to inform you about the changes to the new DC-system and what will be transferred:

1. If a character’s ID overlaps a number will be added at the end and a name change item will be provided.
2. All Teams and memberships will be deleted.
3. All Mito will be deleted and certain amount of Mito will be given for certain levels.
4. Licenses will remain the same.
5. Vehicles will be replaced with US version.
6. Parts will remain the same. Normal parts and options will be deleted.

Further information on how you will be able to transfer your account will be provided next week.

Unfortunately due to technical reasons we will have shut down the game-server after the database-freeze on the 19th Feb at 23:59 CET. We are sorry that we have to do it, but to ensure that the transfer is working smoothly we will have to run some tests.

Every evening this week (except Friday) at 7.30 p.m. (CET) we will be opening the Semi Channel Battle for you. We had a test yesterday and it seemed that you had a lot of fun. Are you ready for the challenge? Get your crew and try to either take a channel or defend the channel you already have!

We are glad to bring the double item event back once again!

From Sunday February 05, 2012 to Monday February 06, 2012 we have something special for you. Once again, you can get double cash items in the Drift Shop. For example buy 5 Scratch Cards and get 10 or buy an item with 7 days on it and get it for 15 days. This does apply to all cash items with the "1+1" sign on it. V upgrades are excluded just as part boxes which are still not buyable.

The event ends on Monday at 8.00 p.m. (CET). It's not possible to charge S-Points anylonger, since the payment system is closed. This event is for everyone who still has S-Points left to spend.

Dear Racers,

we hereby announce that we will stop hosting Drift City by March 2012. But that doesn’t mean the end for Drift City. Far from it!

Together with the development studio npluto we are currently working on the merge of the US and EU versions of Drift City. As we do this, we are trying to keep as many account information active as possible.

We had a first downtime today, January 18th, 6am CET. For about an hour we were running first database-tests to see what account information will be transferable. Up until February 19th you will be able to continue playing Drift City.

On February 20th we will freeze the game’s database. From then on it won’t be possible to spend S-Points or save your game’s progress anymore.

From March 1st on you will be able to participate in the transfer of your user account. This process will be open for six months, so you have plenty of time to have your account transferred into the new version of the game.

More information as to how this process will work and which account information exactly will be transferred will be announced here soon. So make sure to check back regularly! One thing we can already announce is that it will not be possible to transfer your S-Point balance. So we will disable the possibility to buy new S-Points on February 1st. You can still spend the S-Points that you already have on your account until the database freeze on February 19th.

We hope that just like us you are looking forward to an all new, bigger and better Drift City!

On Saturday the 7th of January 2012 from 11am to 10pm (CET) we will open up car auction again! In those 11 hours you will be able to register cars at the auction house. After that the registration is closed and you can still search and buy cars for another full week.

Auction rules:

• Cars can only be traded throught the auction house and not via trade window!
• watch out for scammers and report attempts to the support team! (make a screenshot and go to www.driftcity.de -> Support, use an image hoster for your screenshot)
• Remove all parts from the car before selling
• No drift items should be one the cars, no decals no colors no nothing, no refund on sold glossy colors!
• Cars purchased on the auction house cannot be sold again!
• Please purchase one car at a time! (check Garage or buy extensions)
